STICKY THING recently scored “BLACK DADDY,” a documentary that dives into the experience of Black fatherhood — its beauty, challenges and misconceptions. Directed by Damon Jamal Taylor aka Dame Drummer, the film has won awards at over 20 film festivals, including the award for “Best Film Score.”

We partnered with Duncan Channon and the California Department of Public Health to produce this public service bop. Inspired by memorable public health slogans like “Stop, Drop and Roll,” we helped add rhyme and rhythm to the steps of COVID-19 recovery.

Sometimes, creatives bring us their half-baked ideas, and we work together to develop them. Here, an agency copywriter brought us a script in the form or lyrics. We helped develop the concept with custom music and sound design. Animation WIP.

We had the honor of creating the theme song for “PENDO’S POWER,” a children’s book that teaches children about consent. The song makes a group chant out of the book’s core message: “My Voice Is My Power.” Song written by Angel Adedokun & Mike Blankenship.
